Greek Wedding DJRhodes, Corfu and Greek destination weddings

I’m DJ Chonkx, a UK Greek wedding DJ based in London. I fly out with couples who want traditional Greek dancing and a packed international dancefloor at the same party, hosted on the mic so the whole night runs to plan.

01 The Wedding

A Greek destination wedding in Rhodes.

Rhodes, Greece

Alexia & Olly

Alexia & Olly’s Greek destination wedding at Kallithea Springs meant working in one of the most striking, acoustically open venues I’ve played: a converted thermal springs building right on the coast.

The night moved from traditional Greek dancing into a packed international dancefloor, with live saxophone over the top and the sound carrying across an open courtyard without disturbing the historic setting around it.

02 The Music

Greek dancing, then the whole room.

A Greek wedding needs a DJ who knows when to hold the circle and when to open the floor up. I build every set around your families and mix the two worlds live.

Traditional Greek

Syrtos, Kalamatianos, Zeibekiko and the dances your family expects, played at the right moments so the circle keeps growing.

Modern Greek

Greek pop and laika for the younger crowd, mixed in and out of the traditional sets.

Party Classics

Motown, House, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop and 2000s anthems, so guests from the UK and beyond are on the floor too.

Live Extras

Saxophone, dhol, low fog, sparkulars and lighting through my supplier network, booked alongside your DJ.

03 The Planning

How a Greek destination wedding comes together.

  1. Music PlanA call to learn your families, your must plays, your do not plays and the Greek dances you want.
  2. Venue & SoundI check noise limits, curfews and power with the venue, and confirm the equipment spec in advance.
  3. Your TeamI work with your planner, lighting and live musicians so the timeline flows as one.
  4. On the NightHosting entrances, speeches and the first dance, then a full dancefloor until the last song.

05 Questions

Greek wedding DJ FAQ

Yes. Syrtos, Kalamatianos, Zeibekiko and modern Greek pop sit alongside UK and international party classics, so the Greek dancing and the wider party both get their moment.

Yes. I’m based in London, so I DJ Greek and Greek Cypriot weddings across the UK as well as flying out to Greece and Cyprus.

Anywhere you’re getting married. Rhodes, Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Zakynthos and Athens are all regular destination wedding spots, and the planning is the same wherever you are.

It depends on the venue and location. For some destinations I travel with my own core setup; for others, I work directly with a trusted local supplier or the venue’s own equipment, confirming the full technical spec in advance so there are no surprises on the day.

Not at all. Many island venues have noise limits or a curfew for outdoor music. I ask about them early and plan the night around them, so the best moments land before the cut off.
